New Combo
-GT40P heads heavily ported by Donathen and Son Motorsports (DSM)
-Extensive porting on the explorer intake
-NX shark nozzle to convert to a wet kit
-4cyl springs up front
-longtubes and 4.10's within a year

My current goal is to go 12.30's NA and 11.60s on a 125shot, but my eventual goal is high 11's on the motor with the P heads. Its been done numerous times, and it will be done by me by the time I graduate from college in May 2004

Here's some shots of my car

This is my friend Tim's car, it was a low 10second car when this picture was taken, but its got a MUCH stronger motor now. New combo consists of a 310cid A4 block with TEA CNC ported TFS heads, Anderson RAP71 cam, systemax intake, and a YS trim making 21psi. It made 680rwhp. Can you say mid 9's? Only if he lets me drive it!:)

fiveohpatrol's 1988 Ford Mustang This is my car on the dyno at the 2002 NMRA world finals in Bowling Green. Didn't make impressive power, but I learned that my injectors weren't up to par for the dry nitrous kit, and also learned I was shifting about 250-300rpm too high

fiveohpatrol's 1988 Ford Mustang this shot shows my new GT40 P heads before any porting. The gasket is a felpro 1415.

This is the same head after 1 port is almost done. Thats a hell of a lot of porting. Thanks again Tim

fiveohpatrol's 1988 Ford MustangHeres the flow numbers of a stock GT40P head compared to my ported ones. It picked up quite a bit on the exhaust side. This fucker better run good!

Heres the lower explorer(GT40) intake ported to a felpro 1250 gasket.
