Its been awhile since I last posted anything on the wag since the last update over 2years ago, Its been brought back to life. It right now is a back up truck just in case of the dd goes bad, plus a parts hauler. In the near future Im going to put up some new pics and Im secretly getting parts for a swap? of some sorts. Its going to be a blast

I'v been trying to get ahold of one of these for quite some time now. I'm considering trading off my car to do it. Anyways, nice ride :D

As for the engine swap it can be done it just depends on how much time you have to dedicate to the project. There are several members at www.ifsja.org that have swapped in different engines ranging from 6.2 turbo diesels to 500 cubic inch Caddy engines. Personally I would build the AMC 360 and beef it up a bit. The money you save on adapters and fabrication can be used for performance parts for the 360. The 360 in my 88 Wag would smoke the 35 inch Swampers I was running before I changed to the Claws and that's with a posi rearend. Of course the next day was spent replacing the rear pinion seal from the severe axle wrap but it's all in fun. If you notice the latest pics I finally installed a set of anti wrap ladder bars. I would check with www.bjsoffroad.com for the wiring harness. They carry a lot of aftermarket parts for FSJ vehicles. Here's a mega link page for FSJ parts that might help you out. http://pub29.bravenet.com/freelink/show.php?usernum=2471503023

If the page does not show text then hit refresh and it should pop up. Check in at www.ifsja.org and I'm sure someone has some experience with a 460 swap. Good Luck!

Thanks for the comment. The lift came from Rusty's Off Road. I had basiclly built the truck before I found out about IFSJA or BJs. There must be something about Jeeps and Mitsubishi. My other ride is a 95 Mitsubishi Diamante. Any ideas on how to beef the V6 up a notch or two?
