I just got this car about a month ago. I have already removed the trans and engine, stripped the body of all chome, all glass, fenders, all interior, and working on removing the frame from the body and putting it on a cart. I am looking for a good body shop. Any suggetions??

Wow. You are lucky. You have a much better starter car than I got. The eastwood company should fix you up with just about everything you need for your project.

hey starting out with a nice car. it will make it easier starting with a solid car. im building a 54 chevy 4-door as well and i would have to say since you have already taken the body off the frame you might as well and throw away the old frame and get a 1984-1990 caprice classic frame and drop your body on there. its the best way to go, you will have a v-8, power steering, power disc brake. i just got done doing that to mine but i also chopped the top 4.5 inches and body dropped it 5 inch. i did bag it and im working on the body work right now. i bagged the car and the rocker panels will lay on the ground when the car is all the way down. i have 22 inch wheels on the back and 20's up front. im almost done with all the body work and i plan on having it painted within 3 weeks. im only 21 years old and this is my 3 old school car i have built but its great because my dad owns a body shop and i have learned so much from him and everyone that works there over all the years. if you have any questions just let me know i will be more than happy to answer them. my email is joshbarnes13@hotmail.com

It looks to be in pretty good shape. Have you thought about doing your own body work? I just became a member today. Do you have anyheadliner installation pictures?
