Here is my 1989 Firebird. It has the 2.8L V6 with the automatic transmission. This was my first car. It has been a great vehicle, as I have never had a major problem with it. It gets decent mileage, and has given me almost ten years of reliable transportation. I did install a new computer chip, a K&N air filter, and a Flowmaster exhaust on it, just for fun. A while back, I was talking to an automatic transmission guy, and this car came up in the conversation. I said that I would like it to shift firmer. He collected up a bunch of parts from his shop, and assembled me a shift kit, which I installed. So I guess now I have a "custom" shift kit. At any rate, that transmission guy took me serious when I said that I wanted it to shift firm. At full throttle, the 1-2 shift will send the removable face of the CD player flying around the car! I broke the rear transmission mount pretty quick playing with that! Now I take it easier when I drive this car. Don't get me wrong though. I am under no delusions that this car is particularly fast. But it is a great vehicle, and an outstanding means of transportation!
I recently found some old photo negatives and had them digitized. Here are a few of my Firebird from just after I got it.
Here is my Firebird with some of my other Pontiacs.
I have several other cars on Cardomain. Check them out.
