***SOLD CAR 12/2006. SHORTLY AFTER THAT IT WAS KILLED. SO SAD***
This is my 1985 GTS hatchback. It's my 2nd ae86. I also have a coupe which is still in project.
I recently broke a crankshaft
so I'm running on a spare 16v
until the "real motor" is finished. I used to have a vertex bumper but it has since been destroyed. Other than that the car hasn't changed much lately :)
Here's some drift pics from the dori track in Ocala:

I've been into AE86 for about 4 years. I've been drifting actively for about 1.5 years. I'm pretty much the only corolla that drifts a lot in my area. It gets kinda lonely haha :(
Here's my machine specs:
Driveline/engine: 16V 4AGE bluetop, GSXR 750 individual throttle bodies, OBX 4-1 header, 2.5" cat back, 240cc camry injectors, stock clutch (ie: shit), fluidyne radiator for honda civic, PBR metal masters brake pads, earl's stainless lines, 7/8 bore MC (for fx16), Toyota LSD.
Suspension: Prothane bushings, Short stroke AGX shocks (front 4 way rear 8 way), Front QA1 coilover 6.3 kg/mm, TRD japan rear spring 4.7 kg/mm, T3 roll center adjuster, Tein camber plates, T3 lateral control rod, CTune traction bracket, Battle Version tension rods,
Other stuff: Nardi classic 360mm steering wheel w/ T3 50mm spacer, MOMO Acropolis VTR bucket seat, rear lexan window.
Bling items: VIS carbon fiber hood, JDM sprinter tail lights, 15x7.5 Work Equip01 wheels, Hankook RS-2 tires <------------ awesome tires!!!
Um, I have cool wheels
'
All this crap and it's still slower and harder to drift than a stock s13.
The new "real motor" in progress is as follows:
101 20v block, CP 11.5:1 pistons .040 over, TRD formula atlantic spec headgasket (0.8mm), largeport 4age 16v head, HKS valve springs, HKS 272/264 8.1mm lift cams, Fidanza cam gears, ACT 6 puck clutch, And all the stuff currently running the motor (itb, ecu etc)
Future plans? Get a better lsd, change spring rates, practice, practice, practice!
I wanna give a shout to my twin brother Matt. He's living in WA state and has a team called Panic Mode! They kick major ass so check them out. Here's a pic of him sliding:
TEAM CASTRO DOMINATE!
