Captain Catalina rides again!!!!

Bryan has bought a 1977 Firebird and has given the Cat back to me. I thought I would rearrange the site and format it a little better than I had it before. I will try to document it from beginning to present. This allows me to have a car that doesn't have to be a daily driver. I can try to put gears and maybe a 4 speed in it in the future. I also want to paint it John Deere Blitz Black. The interior in it now is temporary until I can come across some interior at a decent price.
Bryan's Firebird is pretty solid for a 2nd gen that is unrestored. It is yellow and has a 350 Oldsmobile original engine. Pics of his car will be up on his site by the end of the week.

car should look really great when your done. What color are you going to paint it and is that the orengal motor,I can see where you rebuilt it,what upgrades did you put in or did you leave it stock. give it 5***** cause it's a pontiac and a 73 cat,Iused to have one, now I have a 73 bonneville 2 door coupe. Can't wait to see it finished. Starting body work on my 73 this summer, hood is the worst part of the work, rest of car is in good shape, except the vinal top needs replaced.I'm thinking of removing the top altogether.Maybe later on I,LL have some pic,s on here myself. good luck with it and keep us posted. later.

Hey man how's it going with the Catalina? I haven't updated in a while, but that's mostly because I haven't gotten anything new done with the car. Money's been tight and I'm just barely getting by lately so the project has been on the back burner. On the bright side, the car is fully prepped for all new weather gaskets, body work, paint, trim, and the interior is all cleaned out and ready for any metal work it may need and then for new seats, carpet, and other various creature comforts. While the fenders are off (either being replaced right out or patched up, whichever is cheaper) I should be able to do some work on the engine and transmission.
