He (has got a nickname - Moose) has done more than 515.000 km with the first motor. It has got 116hp and loads of tourque. The body work is in a great shape. Only 3 little patches of rust, which will so be removed. It is a "normal" (if you can call a Volvo that) Volvo 740 GL with the "Inbetween Front". In Europe this front was offered for the 700er series from 1990 until 1992 untill the 900er series came and took the lights from the 760 II. The colour is appollo white and the interiour is a boring stripped grey. In the eighties that was cool - now it is just boring ...
That is why I have started to make plans for it. Inside the whole car will be leather covered. The seats, plastic covers, dash board, middle console, ... you name it, it will be covered. Before I can get some leather seats, I'll have some 960 seats fitted (are more comfy and look more modern than mine at the moment! Outside will be slightly modified. The boot lid shall be replaced by one from a V90, the rearlights shall be the red-white-white-red ones off the V90 aswell. Some nice rims shall be mounted sometime too.
