This is my 1949 Chevorolet Styleline Special 2-Door Sedan. She has been nosed and decked with '48 Chevy taillights. The buisness end is a 350 V8 with a 700R4. It has a Nova front clip and rear end. The car has power steering and power bakes with disc's up front. This is my second vehicle to install air ride on and I love it. I have independent controls for each wheel using 8 of the 3/8" 250psi E Valves from SuicideDoors.com.

Just put on some skirts!

LowHeat's 1949 Chevrolet Master DeluxeThe car is in the 15th issue of Car Kulture Deluxe! Page 62-65!
LowHeat's 1949 Chevrolet Master DeluxeIt is the subject of a "how-to" article for After Burners! Here is a picture of the nut who wrote the article.

LowHeat's 1949 Chevrolet Master DeluxeIt is in CKD again in issue #17 for a lead working article!

LowHeat's 1949 Chevrolet Master DeluxeIn CKD #18 it shows how we shaved the doors. I was kind of disapointed in the pictures for the article though.

LowHeat's 1949 Chevrolet Master DeluxeIts just your basic 350, runs strong and drives great. I found the old finned aluminum valve covers at a swap meet. I just painted the underside of the hood satin black.
LowHeat's 1949 Chevrolet Master DeluxeI now have the engine compartment painted, the new master cylinder installed and a chrome luvered air cleaner on!
LowHeat's 1949 Chevrolet Master DeluxeNow I have an old Caddy air cleaner that I pinstriped.

I installed a heater from Vintage Air. It is the 50615-VUH. It fits under the dash nicely and it was easy to install.

LowHeat's 1949 Chevrolet Master DeluxeHere I am after we filled up, this was my friend Dan's maiden run in his bagged '50 Buick. If you want to see a sweet transformation, check it out!
LowHeat's 1949 Chevrolet Master DeluxeThe beginning of the flames for Dan's Chopped Merc.
LowHeat's 1949 Chevrolet Master DeluxeAbout done with the taping. That is a big car and it took a lot of tape!
LowHeat's 1949 Chevrolet Master DeluxeGot pulled over! My bumper is less than 12" off the ground.
LowHeat's 1949 Chevrolet Master DeluxeHere is a shot from another Car Kulture Deluxe picture shoot. The other cars belong to people I work with, hopefully we all will get in the mag.
LowHeat's 1949 Chevrolet Master DeluxeThis is my new toy! She is a 66 VW Bug named Velma. It will take some work to get her back on the road but I think she is cool!
LowHeat's 1949 Chevrolet Master DeluxeThis is at the fireworks display in Stillwater for 06. My work has a building right across from Boomer Lake where the display was. We had a company picnic and car show, it was a lot of fun!

Sweet ride! 5 stars. If your interested in a custom drawing of your car or maybe just a print of another, please check out my site at www.SketchesByChrisM.com One would look great next to your ride at a car show or just to display on your wall at your home, garage or shop. Thanks -Chris (SBC)

Nice job on the hood latch. I deleted mine and went to hood pins, didnt seem to have enough room with the 455 and 4 core radiator.
