This car has undergone alot of change over the last year. I have had to pull the engine out twice. First for the broken oil pump, and now a broken crank. So the list of modifications has grown again. It starts with an SLP cold air intake, Granetelli mass air meter, Trick Flow elbow connected to a BBK 52mm throttle body and the throttle body bypass kit. I also made use of BBK's underdrive pulley, NGK TR-55 spark plugs with Taylor Thundervolt 50 wires which are 10.5mm. Meziere electric water pump, Hypertech 160 degree thermostat. On the inside she has Comp R 1.6 Roller Rockers, Comp Hi Tech Chromoly pushrods, Comp R Lifters, a Comp Cams SRP custom grind 608/613 lift 236/242 duration cam and K-Motive springs, Cloyes double roller timing chain, an Eagle crankshaft, Eagle connecting rods, SRP/JE forged 11.1 pistons, before these could be installed I had Darryl Weis Racing do the machine work on the block to clearence it for the 383 stroker crank. Weis Racing also did the porting on the heads for me. Clevite bearings and the use of a Melling M55-HV oil pump. OBD 2 custom tuning by Scott Racing and Perfomance. The tranny has been upgraded with an Extreme Automatics Stage 2 4L60E,a Vigilante 3000 rpm stall torque converter, 3.73 Motive gears, Auburn pro posi unit, aluminum driveshaft, Jet Hot long tube headers, custom SRP y pipe with exhaust cutout, and a flowmaster catback. I have also added BMR weld in subframe connecters and a BMR strut tower brace.

This is a rare site, had to let it rain on my car. I was moving from Jacksonville FL back to Ohio and was gettin ready to load it on the trailer.

Here's the first shots taken with the new black ZR1 wheels. The front got 17x9 1/2 and the rear got 17x11's. The tires are 275's up front and 315's in the rear. The only bad thing is the nose is up to high still, dont have the engine back in yet.camaro_30thann's 1997 Pontiac Trans Amcamaro_30thann's 1997 Pontiac Trans Amcamaro_30thann's 1997 Pontiac Trans Am camaro_30thann's 1997 Pontiac Trans Am

Goodbye Goodyears, that was the day before I got a new set. So what better way to send off the old tires.
