Page one ...... Basic Info
Page two ...... Engine build

I am currently in the process of rebuilding the engine for my truck. I had the rear main seal go out and I hit a deer on the same night and it was parked all winter while I was at school. Luckily the deer did not do any damage, and the rear main was a good excuse to for me to pull the motor out and rebuild it the way I want it.

I bought my truck in the march 02 my sohpmore year in highschool for $1500, not to bad of a deal huh? It has a Tbi controled lo5 350 with a th700r4 Tranny. I bought it with a 4" lift, a set of flexsteel seats, a front brush guard bar, and it had a jvc cd player with a remote. There were alot of little things to fix on it but it ran, and it looks pretty bad ass!

Engine:
The engine was stock, I added a K&N Filtercharger, and an MSD coil. The MSD coil was a huge improvement!

Engine Rebuild in progress:
I got my engine back from the machine shop where it was bored .030 over. I now have the short block assembled, and just got a set of vortec heads, and a performer RPM air-gap manifold. When I got them back on it should have 300+ horse. More on page 2...

Exhaust:
One of the original exhaust manifolds was missing a hole for a stud, so I got a set of headers and a few sections of 2 1/4" pipe and 2 glass packs, used a friends pipe bender and bent it all up.

Sound system:
I built custom 6x9 boxes and installed lightning audio 6x9s, and installed pioneer speakers in the dash. I also added 2 10" R/F punch-z subs in subzero truck boxes powered by a 760W alpine class D amp behind the seats for some kidney pounding bass! This truck has passed the penny test, I put a penney on my roof cranked up the volume and got it to flip over. The JVC sterio took a crap last summer so I replaced it with a Pioneer.

I also added some 33x12.5 tires and a few energy suspension bushings.

Future mods:
Holley 650cfm throttle body
Jet 6 pack performance chip
Proform Full Roller Rocker Arms
Nerf bars
snow tires - 33x9.5 pizza cutters!
Lund moonvisor
Cowl Induction hood
Big Rig Air horn (hidden under the hood, on inner fender well)
New paint (please chech out my poll)
