A Big THANK YOU to everyone who voted for my car @ dragtimes.com
I finally made car of the month for May 2007
My Camaro @ Dragtimes...http://www.dragtimes.com/chevrolet-camaro-timeslip-5874.html

Fastest 1/4 mile run stock was 13.979 sec @ 97.78 mph with the alternator unpluged. (Normally runs were between 14.3 & 14.7)
Mods at this point (10/10/01) included Jet TPI air foil, K & N air filters, and Altered air boxes.........
You can check out more Camaro time slips @ f-body.org www.f-body.org/timeslips/drillslip/cfm?er=13

I bought the car July 2000 from the second owner with 125,000 miles. It is supposedly 1 of 12 B4C's issued to the State of Nebraska in 1991...it is 1 of 592 built by GM during the 1st year re-introduction of the police package in 1991...

Since then I've completely gutted the air boxes... added TPIS plug wires...Bosch platinum plugs...Throttle body coolant bypass...Empire Inland Aluminum drive shaft...installed a 160^ thermostat...bought new Goodyear HP Ultra tires...
None of which seemed to help me go any faster....
I also tried changing the prom but this did not help at all, so I went back to the factory chip...added March steel underdrive pulleys #4405...Edelbrock ceramic coated TES headers...Catco duel catalytic converter replacements...Flowmaster American Thunder 3" exhaust..
(10/8/05) With Cool 30^ October Temperatures plus lots of ice on the upper plenum the car ran it's best of 13.851 sec @ 98.060 mph
Most regular 1/4 mile passes are around 14.015 sec @ 96.56 mph
