My 240sx.

nissanfanatic240's 1992 Nissan 240SXnissanfanatic240's 1992 Nissan 240SX

It started life with me as a bone stock 117,000 car that I drove to high school(40 miles a day) my entire 12th grade year. It remained for the most part stock. By the end, I had a K&N filter, Pacesetter header, and an Apexi N1 exhaust on it. So, yea, it stayed pretty much stock. Didn't stay that way for long. In September of 2004, it was gifted with a turbo. This was what some people would call a "ghetto" setup. PVC intercooler piping, a FMU(Fuel management unit), all the stuff you don't want on your car. It did a best of 15.3@93MPH in that trim. Now I have a very complimentary list of mods and much better times.

Mods include:
GroundZero manifold
T3/T04E 50trim w/.63ar turbine housing
Turbonetics evolution 35mm wastegate
3" custom downpipe made by me
TurboXS Type RFL Blow Off valve
Boostdesigns intercooler kit
Enthalpy Tuned ECU
615cc injectors
300zx MAFS
Apexi power intake
Apexi SAFC
Apexi AVC-R
Apexi N1 exhaust
IAP oil line kit
MSD SS blaster coil w/ my rewiring mod (http://www.ka-t.org/ignitionrewire.htm )
ACT heavy duty pressure plate with organic disk
NGK BKR7E-11 plugs
Magnecor plug wires
Walbro 255lph fuel pump rewired (http://www.ka-t.org/tech)
S14 seat
Stripped trunk
My Overboost protector ( http://www.ka-t.org/overboost.htm )
Pilot Front/Rear strut bars
Peak Performance magnetic drain plug
S14 seat belts

Basic matinence like a banshee. Mobil 1 synthetic only.

Current best power:
(16psi)351rwhp/334rwtq(75*F) :plug gap was causing misfiring:
(14psi)338rwhp/330rwtq(75*f) :Plug gap was causing misfiring:
(12psi)326rwhp/311rwtq(58*f)
(7psi)256rwhp/254rwtq(58*f)

Current best times are:
Best 60':2.08 (~.75kg/cm2)
Best 1/4 ET:13.319 (~.8kg/cm2)
Best 1/4 MPH:110.07 (~.8kg/cm2)

Video(s):
14psi pull

Stock wheels, stock suspension, Toyo Proxxes FZ-4 205s, 43psi tire pressure.

I am 19 years old and I built this entire car myself. Only time it has EVER been in a shop was for a new set of tires and then to patch one tire. Every bit of basic matinence/upgrades/and tuning has been done by me aside from the ECU tune which, obviously, Scott Avoy(Enthalpy) did.

Remains to this day daily driven on a BONE STOCK ENGINE, and now has 140,1XX miles on it. Currently driving it everyday at 14psi.

Plans for the car as of now are:
5zigen FN01RC's in 17x9 +20 (4x114.3mm) on all fours wrapped in Kuhmo MXs (235 front, 245 rear)
KTS coilovers

Then some Autox madness!!

Sweet s-13 you got there. Pretty impressive numbers she's putting out as well. Looking to own me a s-14 style 240 sometime late next year. Stop by sometime and check out my eclipse and let me know what you think

Nice ride. How reliable is the KA24DE engine? I've thought about getting rid of the WS6, and using the money to purchase a body model like yours, but fear of having a lemon has prompted me not to. Is it smogable with your mods? Any help would be appreciated.
