UPDATE.... As of taday... June 22nd 2007 the civic has been taken to the junk yard and scrapped. I know that all of you have been looking forward to seeing the end result of this car. People around here just dont know what respect means, and have fucked with the car too much making it too hard to keep fixing. I will begin on a new project car when I have a garage to keep it safe from all the people here. Thank you all for the support and comments. I really appreaciate it. ----------------------UPDATE JANUARY 11th ---------------------- Well, I got to Myrtle Beach and was about to move into my house and get the shop up and running when I discovered that someone stole my identity back in 2000 and ruined my social security number with 28 felony charges. The good news is the fucker that did it all is locked up in Virginia State Penn, the bad news is I couldnt get my house and I have to put the shop on hold until I figure out how to straighten out this social security number mess. EVERYONE please be careful this shit can happen to anyone. Thankfully the last six years was spent in the military and I can prove I was never even close to doing any of that stuff but my tip to you is be careful with your personal information. I will keep everyone updated on the shops new grand opening.

This car is a project car that I have been working on for about 1 year now. It is a 1995 Honda Civic EX. Most of you will appreciate the hard work and time that has been spent on this car but for those that like to waste their time looking at "RICE" understand this. This car is being built for my Import Shop that I am opening up in April of 2007 in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. This is a picture of the car before I began all of the custom work right after I installed the Silvia S-14 front end conversion.

"THE BEGINNING"

Here is the shaved antenna above the driverside window.

The car right after I installed the R34 Front bumper, Black Widow side skirts, and Black Widow rear bumper. Also I began shaving the driver side door handle.

After the door handle, sideskirt, and rear door molding was shaved.

The rear section of the sideskirt molded to the rear quarter panel. Not quite perfect at this point but close.

Once the sideskirt was finished I molded the inner section to the inside of the door sill. You can see the rear section is complete at this point.

Ok, here is the car with the sideskirt molded to the front fender, door sill, and rear quarter panel. Also you can see the rear bumper was also molded to the rear quarter panel.

I forgot to take install pictures of the Vertical door kit from Extreme Dimensions but here is the car with the door shaved and up.

NOW THE REAL FUN STARTS, I GOT MY NEW TAILLIGHTS IN THE MAIL. THEY ARE 2005 INFINITY G35 COUPE TAILLIGHTS.

Here is what the taillight section looked like before I began the G35 taillight conversion.

The beginning stages of the conversion. I removed 2" of the rear quarter panel and began to construct my own to house the taillights.

Ok the 2" didn't work. I then cut about 6-8" off the quarter panel and relayed my fiberglass.

Just thought I would see what she was going to look like at this point.

I started to create a new trunk with fiberglass but it wasn't working the way I wanted it to so I ripped it all off and ended up using a piece of sheet metal instead. Oh well.

Here is the tiallight bolted in place with a little bondo added and the lower piece under the taillight constructed.

Add a little primer and sand and this is what she came out looking like. Still had the fiberglass trunk piece but soon to be removed at this point.

I began working on the other passenger side tailight.

Here is the sheet metal trunk I went with instead and a little more work done to the passenger side taillight.

Another shot of the whole rear end. It looks kinda funny to me because the rear is lifted on a jack.

While waiting for some fiberglass to dry one day I was bored and decided to create a custom hood. So I grabbed the dremel and started cutting. This is what I came out with. Although not done yet I think it came out pretty nice.

This picture and the one below it are just 2 pictures of the car that show the newly cut vents in the hood.

Although this is a terrible picture, I got a new shipment in the mail. It was my new brushed aluminum SPARCO fuel cap.

This is what the fuel area looked like before I began the work.

Laying more fiberglass. If you haven't figured it out by now, I like working with fiberglass.

This shows the SPARCO gas cap in it's first stage of being molded into the rear quarter panel. A lot more work needs to be done but just to give you an idea of what it is going to look like.

For those thinking this car is all "show" and no "go" here is the H22A1 prelude engine swap that was installed right before the silvia S-14 conversion prior to all of this work. Also this shows you what the stock front of the car used to look like.

Ok so I got bored today and this was the end result. A 100% custom side vent. Kinda looks like the NSX side scoops. The picture is shitty because my camera was being retarded but you get the idea.

Ok so I know I get bored a lot lately and this is the result of what happened this time. I thought I took pictures form beggining to where I am now but apparetly this is the closest I got to the beginning. The hood was made completely custom now. Here is the pictures in order of completion. Enjoy!

The second sheet was fitted into the hood and angled with a 1" gap to be later filled with mesh.

The third sheet was fitted and angled.

The fourth and final piece was fitted and angled giving it the look I was going for. Kind of. This was taken from my sunroof.

And finally after 3 1/2 hours this is a terrible picture taken with my camera phone of what the hood looks like as of today. About another 4-5 hours until it is finished.

OK it's been way too long since I have worked on my car. I thought I would try and finish the taillight conversion and this is whrere I left off after 2 days.

If you look you can see the new polished aluminum Sparco racing fuel door.

Even though it is not done yet you can really start to see the way the trunk and body are lining up and taking shape.

This is the hood after a little work. I am adding a lip that goes all the way around the cutout. Please let me know what you think.

I decided to go with a spoiler on the taillight conversion. Here is what it looks like after a few hours of playing with it in the garage yesterday.

I placed a LED brake light in as well. Thought it might add a little touch to the spoiler. What do you think?

Here is another angle you can see the LED in this if you look close enough. It was a pretty tight squeeze.

Ok my little brother hard at work here. He actually came up with about 95% of the spoiler idea on this one. I am just here to make his idea look good.

Here is what I have as of tonight. I have been working a lot on her lately and for some reason the conversion seems to never progress. Either way here is the current progress.

I decided to actually pull the car out of the garage and get a look at her from a distance. Let me know what you guys think.

This shot sucks for some reason but you can get the idea of what it is looking like.

This is the side that is relatively close to being done. Just a few touch ups and still need to cut the side vent in like I have on the passenger side but you get the picture.

Finally got some head way as I shot the first coat of primer on to see what imperfections still needed to be worked out.

Ok so my little brother started a project and after 2 minutes he walked away. The project? Shaving the rain slits on the roof. I got a little spare time this last week so I filled it in. Just needs to be sanded at this point.

Here is the roof rain gutter filled and primed. Simple but I like it.

This is the front bumper. The headlights didnt line up as good as I would have liked them to so I removed the top side of my bumper, between the lights and made my own out of fiberglass.

Here is the area that is being worked on with the fiber hair layed down.

All sanded and waiting for the body filler and primer.

I forgot to get a shot of the area with body filler but here she is all primed. A few little imperfections to fix and it will be finished.

If you really use your imagination it almost looks like the car is painted white with a blu pearl.

Just a little side shot to make me realize that the front is done and I need to get motivated to finish the interior.

Here is the taillights finally wired up and working. I think they look pretty good.

Minus the door being back on, the entire driverside, rear end, and front is complete.

This car was originally green and she decided she wanted a custom pink paintjob with a custom interior. It took us about 4 days to get her car from stock to this.
