Future Engine Plans
well my GA just hit 100k and for most 2.3L Quad OHC engines thats just about their lifespan. I planned on painting the car and redoing the interior for show over this winter but the engine needs attention first. i was going to just have the stock motor rebuilt and have a rebuilt tranny put in but what fun would that be? so ive came to the conclusion that a 2.3L DOHC HO engine along with a Getrag 5spd tranny would work nicely. so i went to a junkyard and bought the engine and i am currently rebuilding it with some extra goodies! as soon as the weather breaks here ill complete the tranny swap but ill still have to keep saving for all the performance parts i want for the engine. theres no sense in doing the engine swap only to pull it back out to add to it!
