After riding in my friend's '99 Cougar I4 in Grabber Green, I've always had a soft spot for 'em. Sucks that his was repo'd since the damn military screwed up his paperwork and said he had successfully transfered to active from reserve. Anyways, I was looking at buying a black '99 Eclipse GSX, but as much as I wanted it, I'm too damned tall to fit!!! So, frustruated, I bought this 2002 Mercury Cougar C2 last time I was home. I was coming from Cherry Point, NC and headed to Yuma, AZ to join my squadron. I had it about 3 days before I made the drive, and fell in love with it somewhere between Denver and Las Vegas... at about 120 mph. As of right now, it's entirely stock, save for the GMK CAI.

It's not much to look at under the hood right now, having just the stock Duratec 2.5L V6. Not
bad, but not
NEAR as fast as it should be. I've got a LOT of plans for her, I just gotta work on funding.
