this is my dad's 1979 cadillac coupe deville
he is the orginal owner
bought for about 9000 dollars in 1979
He actually still has the original window sticker
most of the car is mostly original with some new cosmetic additions including a new vinyl top, tires, headliner, body fillers, headlights, hubcaps, shift knob, and some other minor replacements
even though this car looks pretty good in these pictures, there are many problem spots where rust is under the paint including the rear driver-side quarterpanel, passenger side door, one small section of the hood
a restoration on this car would very difficult and expensive because of the problems mentioned previously - it would probably have to be a full body-off restoration which is something that is not worth the time and money needed - dont want to see it go though
