So I did some research tonight with some disappointing results... 2.5RS's are grossly overpriced. Even the KBB values are nuts, so there's no way I'm spending that much on an AWD econo-box. I'm considering other options, and the top one right now is a Miata. Fun little car, lots of em around so they're cheap and parts are easy to find. I like the M1 style more (up to 97), but I REALLY want the 6spd which is only found on the SE of the M2 generation (99 and up). Perhaps I'll get a normal M1 or M2 and find a way to retro-fit the other tranny.

We'll see how it goes. We'll see, I'm still far from selling the SVX much less actually buying the new car. It still prelim research right now.

Mmmm money... I got a new job, I'm selling cars at Mistubishi of Nashua. Hopefully, with this large raise in pay I'm going to be able to save up and get my 2.5RS. I'm pretty psyched, not going to lie. My first priority is pay off the 2k I owe the governemnt (student loan), then start saving the pay checks for the black beast... Hehe. Will update with progress/when I get the car. Maybe I'll post the different ones I'm looking at up here. As for the SVX its probably going to get sold. Haven't put it up yet, I have to get the new car first so that I have something to drive.

Don't update much, but I suppose I should since the plan for the car changed. Not like many people read it, but hey, I'm bored...

Its starting to fall apart on me. Little bullshit plastic pieces right now, but with the track record for this car, they're probably very expensive plastic pieces. Plus with gas continuing to climb I'm going to have to sell it before I move to Virginia. Its just too long of a drive and I wont have the money while going to school and only working part time to take care of it, or even put gas in it hahaha. So it will be going up for sale before the end of the summer and I'll be getting a more "practical" car. We'll see how it goes, I think right now I'm going to be getting something that I dont really want, but is cheap and good on gas.

My love is the 2.5RS, like a 1999 or 98, but I doubt I'll be able to get it this time around. For now I'm going to see what I can afford with low miles and good fuel economy, and probably keep that in good stock shape so I can trade it in for a 2.5RS. When I get the 2.5RS I'm hoping to boost the stock motor within a year or so. Everyone seems to do an engine swap with the new STi motors, so I want something different.

Still debating even making a cardomain page for the soon to come econo-box since its not really going to be anything fun. I probably will but it wont be updated much, just like this page has been. I just cant afford upgrades for this car unfortunately. As much as I hate 4cyl. and FF configuration, it was nice being able to upgrade the Duster.

To-Do list for summer is up. Check out pg 5 if you're curious. I also updated the mods list - it is quite short, didn't take me long!

Still at school. Uploading pics that I took a little while ago. The rims will be swapped to the summer tires (Yoko Avid H4's) when I get home, right now they're running the winter tires. I'm changing colleges for next year, and going to Virginia for Automotive Technology. I am hopefully bringing this out with me, so there is ALOT of work planned for the summer for it, to get it ready for the long drive. I've got the list in a word document at my house, and I'll copy up here when I go home for the summer (end of May). 'Till then, enjoy the pictures I have.

Not much to update on. No money so not much gets done the car. Starting to struggle into 3rd and not giving me 4th/OD at all occasionally. I'm afraid this tranny is finally going to call it quits soon.

Well good news is that means a new tranny, stick shift, is in the future. Will probably go with a 5spd out of a WRX or Legacy for the cheaper option and lighter weight (cable rather than hydraulic). Other option is a 6spd out of a STi. Unfortunately, it looks to cost about 6times as much. Literally.

Some pics for your entertainment. Taken in haste, so don't mind quality. I'll actually make organized pages, good pics and whatnot when I have time. Enjoy this for now...

Hell yeah i wanna turbo the RX. The car has 220k miles (ouch) but the engine and the transmission have only 60k. It's pretty sweet. But yeah, I've definitely got my work cut out for me. It's gonna be so fun.
