This is my Blazer. I bought it stock in 2003 when I turned 16 and since then have performed some major changes. I thought about using a conventional IFS lift but after seeing them all over town and talking to people that own them, I knew I wanted something different. The mods include an Off Road Unlimited IFS to straight axle conversion kit using a rebuilt '79 F250 Dana 44 I got off Ebay, along with a 3/4 ton GM 14bolt rear axle, AGR power steering box and pump, ORU hydro boost brake kit, ORD rear shackle flip, 4.56 gears, rear Detriot locker, front Detroit TrueTrac limited slip, Bushwacker cutout flares, 37" swamper SSR radials, and other crap like, billet grill, air filter,...

rear axle w/ Mag-Hytec diff cover
...this was a never used "new-old-stock" unit
this is all I could find in my yard to drive on...wheelin' pics coming soon...I built the front/rear bumpers
Finished product, lift is about 7-8"(no body)...took me about 4-5 months to finish...(the conversion and lift)but it's always a work in progress...

My custom machined dice shift knob I made in my machine shop class. It's solid steel and the bottom attatches with four hex cap screws and oil blackened for rust proofing and a gun metal-like finish.
The other night I was trying to show off and ended up snapping my driver's side inner axle shaft and shattering a u-joint cap
when boredom takes hold...
Future mods: swap in a 400ci small block, TH400 tranny, and GM 203/Ford 205 doubler kit, custom driveshafts...
