Pic on left - This is the Vega (and me) back in the fall of 1981 (photo taken in Maine). The car had a fairly stock 350 out of a 74 c10 pick up. The trans was a Muncie 4 spd. Pic on right - winter of 81. Engine removed to freshen up, change cam etc.

Back in Maine, but in 1985 after a trip to the body shop. As well as a rebuilt engine , new transmission and rear end.
(looking back I think I liked the white stripes better....maybe because I have had the black stripes on the car for 20 years now! Although I do think that the black stripes go better than white with the all black interior).
