NOW FOR THE INTERIOR and AUDIO SYSTEM!!!
A few pages back I gave all the specifications for the gear I'm going to use. A few months back I tackled the fabrication of the front door panels. These are all fiberglass, utilize all the factory mounting hardware, and use the original armrest. These panels took about 12 hours a piece to make. Without further ado...
These are the left front door panel. I had already made the same panel as the origanal out of fiberglass. Here I added all the MDF speaker rings and crossover cutout, then covered it in fleece.
This is after alot of sanding and MarGlass. Added a few coates of primer/surfacer. Then wet sanded it all.
This is after the interior paint has been applied and the components have been placed in to run the wires.
Waiting for some more pics!!
Here a a few of the passenger side installed in the car. Don't mind the interior, it is a project in progress!

The start of it anyway. Most of the gear is installed, though alot of it is temporary. Just till I get the staging right and make the rest of the fiberglass panels.
Installed the Grand Prix dashboard. Loaded with Autometer Phantom guages. I also cutom built a 3 guage A-pillar, since they aren't made for 4 dorrs or station wagons. Now dig the pics, the last pics are the finished product.

The gauge plate is a stock I am modifying to flush mount all the autometers. The car stil has a/c, so i am keeping the vents. When the fiberglass work is done, I have carbon fiber overlay to cover the panel with, it should look real good.

And the Autometer gauges, most of them anyway.

Here is after a little more work, well, alot more. The 3 horizontal lenses between the big holes are for the high beam, brake and seatbelt indicators. the little hole is for my custom shift light. It is controlled through the ECM, the light is a Pelican M^ replacement flashlight head. i get em free in the military.

I used carbon fiber vinyl overlay till I can afford real carbon fiber.

Here is the ALMOST finished product!

Here is the dash installed in the car.

Here you can see the shift light and the turn indicators, LED's baby! I flush mounted stock lenses for the highbeam, seatbelt and brake warning lights.

Here you can see the bottom of the dash where it meats the custom fiberglass door panels. Don't mind the wiring, I still have to finish the power window/lock install.

Here is the A-pillar
