Hi - thanks for comin - here's my 1993 Volvo 940.
Heres a system rundown:
Head Unit : Pioneer 7400MP - I chose this HU because of the screen thing which looks pretty cool and the fact that it has internal crossovers for subs and my component set.
Component Speakers : Kicker Resolution RS5C. I chose these because I listened to all the speakers and for the price I liked these the best - it was either these or Infinity Kappa's or Polk MOMO's.
Component Speaker Amp : Rockford Fosgate 400S. It delivers 100 Watts to each channel. I chose this because it matched the power handling of the component set with a little extra head room :)
Subs : 2 Kicker Solo-Baric L7 12". They're actually 13.5" so its inbetween a 12 and 15 which is pretty cool. I chose these after listening to a lot of subs and these have great SPL and Sound Quality. They're in a sealed PLEXIGLASS box. I chose sealed because its better for sound quality. The box has a mirror ont the bottom and the back for kicks. I'd like to thank Bobby Gately for the great work he did on my box.
Sub Amps : 2 MTX Audio 500D. These amps come with inspection sheets of their actual performance. These amps both do over 720 watts into a 2 ohm load at 12.5V - so when the car is on I'm getting well over 800 watts to EACH sub.
Electric stuff: I ran 0 gauge cable for 1ft before splitting into (2) Four Gauge cables for the sub amps and (1) 8 gauge cable for the component amp. Each sub amp has its own 1 farad capacitor. I'm using my stock 100A alternator.
