The Plan here is to convert this innocent looking late 70s Sport econo car.. into A sport powerhouse using donor parts and minimum budget. Got lucky here, Body is in excellent condition a couple dings and only a few patches of surface rust the bumpers are missing and the interior is stripped the previous owner wanted to dirt track race it but gave up in middle of the job.

Before it came into my poession it had a few things done

Converted from a 4 bolt wheel to a 5 bolt
Undercarriage cleaned and painted
New fuel tank and lines
Floorboards replaced with 1/8' steel panels hammered to shape and weilded in
New shocks and struts
Larger rotors and drums with new steel and rubber lines installed

Car is manual brakes , manual steering and set up for an automatic transmission

The driveline will be an '89 turbo 2.5L

A couple Pics to get the ball rolling...This is how she looked when towed into my driveway.. car has not been Inspected or on road since 4/96 at least that is when the sticker ran out

WELL, I WOULD FIX IT BUT I HAVE 2 OTHER TURISMO'S AND A 90 SUNDANCE AND A 85 DAYTONA TURBO THAT I JUST GOT. SO IF YOU COULD HELP SPREAD THE WORD, I WOULD HATE TO JUNK THE CAR. I WILL BE UPDATING ALL MY PAGES WITH LINKS TO ALL THE OTHER CARS, GOOD LUCK WITH THE TURBO SWAP.
