O.k so it is'nt my car but my parents

( needs a clean !!! )

It is a 1998 Ford Escort LX with a 1600cc 16v Zetec engine, and it is quite surprising when it gets going.

The I.C.E leaves nothing to be desired, because it is the basic Ford equitment, cosisting of a 1.5 din radio/cassette called the 7000RDS ( Fords code )and looks like this

It is'nt a bad little unit for some one who dos'ent need more than that, but i am not one of those people !!!

These are the front speakers, they are 4"ers and don't sound to bad as they are up high up in the door. But as they are so small there freq respnse is a bit to high for them to play them lows.

These are the rears, they measure up as 5" by 7", and because they are mid-range they work well with the fronts, and don't overpower them which would mess up the sound stage.

So thats the standered system, the next page is what i would like to fit !!!
