I have been wanting to do an LS1 conversion in this car for awhile now, but after I found out how much fabrication work there was to do I decided to build another small block instead. I decided on a 427 sbc with maybe an overdrive. After pulling the 406 out, I got to looking at the engine compartment and decided to paint it back to artic white. Here is what she started out looking like.
