My New Project Car

put the new hatch on, it a pain in the ass to do by yourself .

Put the new doors and fender on last night, just one step closer to being painted. next the hatch and hood. i have been kicking around the idea of making a custom hood using the new hood as the base and cutting the center section out of the iroc hood. the idea is a 2" cowl with the iroc lovers.

Spent an hour sanding the drivers side fender, and 4 hour on the passenger side fender, it had 7 layer of paint & primer. tomorrow i'll sand the passenger door, paint the front edge on the fenders and back edges of the bumper cover, than line everything up & bolt it down.

Bought a new sander and of course it had to rain today, it stopped long enough for me to get a good part of the spoiler done.

Put the front spoiler on i picked up last November for $15.
i started to sand to old paint off and my damn sander busted, i can't really complain it last for 5 year, 5 camaros, and a bike.

I got a drivers side t-top so now the carpet won't get soaked when it rains. I got bored today so i sanded and primed the hood. I need to find a better fender the drivers side looks like crap.

Pulled the rear end and dropped the gas tank, time to cut out the metal to fix the back of the car.

This is what the car looked like the day i got it from the junk yard. The car was a little more than a shell, i couldn't even call it a rolling chassis. I had to borrow the wheels off of my 80 camaro just to roll the car off of the flat bed.
