This is my 1980 Buick Regal Limited. It has become a "monster", it started as a budget build but then it snowballed out of control. But thats alright with me, if im going to do something it might as well be done properly. She is in the body work stage. I built a functional steel cowl induction hood, I used a hood off of a 1989 chevrolet 1500 because it has the same body line. blackknight45's 1980 Buick Regal

My spoiler started as a fender off of a 1988 chevrolet suburban. We spent an afternoon building and tweaking it so it fit perfect and it couldn't have turned out better.blackknight45's 1980 Buick Regal

It has a chev 305 out of a 1985 Pontiac Pariseane. It came originally with a Pontiac 301(piece). The only mods are an xstream k&n air cleaner and a set of headman headers with 2 1/4" true duals to the rear, I plan on putting a crane cam, intake manifold, roller rockers, and ignition. It is shifted through the gears with a 4 speed auto a 700 R4. With the overdrive it needs a lower dif, so i plan on putting a 3.73 detroit locker. I pulled this 301 during x-mas, it was burning oil and leaked antifreeze, and it was bolted to a T200 3 speed. It was weak sauce.

I started with two 1980 Regal's and used one for a parts car. I bought the white one for $500, to much but we got the bergundy one for free, it averages out pretty good. My dad and myself have done all of the work and plan on painting it black. I rapped the stock 15"x7" buick rallye wheels with Hercules H/P 4000 (cheapies, good enough to smoke). The rear are 245 60s and the front are 215 60s. I couldn't go any bigger than that in the rear or it would hit the fenderand they look stupid when they balloon over.

Hello, Nice Regal! You laid down some rubber in that photo... My buddy has an 80 Regal. Do you know where he can get a new hood and bumper fillers at a reasonable price? Take care, Jeff

My first car was an '80 regal. Dropped a 350 in, eventually the tranny gave and had no money to fix it. The body and paint was nice, still sits at the junk yard. I alway's thought a spoiler like that would look cool. Very nice!
