This is my 1973 Ford Mustang. Its been my daily driver for a couple years and now I am in the process of a restoration with a serious drivetrain for Drag Racing in the Summit ET bracket series. The engine is a 408 stroker (351W block) two bolt main, forged Eagle crank, forged H-beam rods, and Forged aluminum SRP pistons. Supporting the mains are studs and a girdle so I am ready to build some good power. I havent bought the heads and the top end yet but I am shooting for 450+ horsepower. The trans I plan to run is a TCI C-6 and a 3500 stall converter. I have a 9" rear out the car and am throwing a 4.11 ring and pinion with a trac loc in. I am also currently working on the minimal body and the rear floor pan rust and then squirting it a medium silver. I also plan to purchase a fiberglass lift-off Mach-1 hood and painting the black Mach 1 stripes down the sides and the hood. I will try to keep updated pics up this summer. -wes bone
