Here You Go, all my hard work and effort paid off...
This is my 1969 Beaumont, most of you know this is the Canadian sister car to the US Chevrolet Chevelle. I have been working on this car for 7 1/2 years, and man was it worth it.

Currently it has a 350 out of a 72 Z/28 with Vortec Heads, mild cam a stock Rochester Carb, with Hedman headers and 2 1/2 inch flowmaster exhaust. The car moves pretty nicely using the Borg Warner Super T-10 to throw power back to the 12-Bolt rearend encasing an Eaton 12-Bolt Posi unit and 373 gears. Creature comforts are pretty standard for the day, power disk brakes, and power steering, no A/C and even still has the bench seat installed for something a bit out of the norm for a restored muscle car, after all you build them for yourself right?

The car was restomoded from the ground up. Orignial car had a 307 and 2 speed powerglide tranny, with drum brakes and 10 bolt rearend. Needless to say (or rather i did above) that is all gone now. All the work was done by myself and my dad in a two car garage. All the parts were purchased through JH Restorations, (519-737-8902) a local CANADIAN Restoration Supply shop that we own. You need it, we can have it, or can find it. Anyway back to the car. We upgraded the suspension on the car using poly urethane bushings in the front and the rear, bigger 1 5/8 sway bar up front, added a rear 1 1/8 sway bar to the rear, Hotchkiss rear suspension package. We installed stainless steel gas and brake lines, new tank, polished all the "original chrome" had the bumpers rechromed at Midway Plating in London. All of the sheetmetal work was done by us, new floors, trunk floors, one brace under the floor, inner and outer rockers, "factory" fenders and "factory" not aftermarket quarter panels. Bodywork and paint was painstakingly done Kopriva's Autobody in Bothwell, using 50th Anniversary Corvette Red... Base Clear, shines like a sheet of Wet Glass.

Future mods include, tubular upper and lower control arms, Baer Disc Brakes on all four courners, Edlebrocks version of a GM ZZ4 Crate Engine, and some minor interior work (rechroming of plastic dash pieces).

Hope you enjoy the pics, call us if you need anything. Lots of Great Cars on this site, and hopefully many more being built. Enjoy, have a great day.
Jesse

Nice ride, I have a 1969 convertible Beaumont that has been converted to a Chevelle SS with a 69 vintage 396 I am trying to find a new home for. If anyone is interested please send me an e-mail to robnjapan@yahoo.com. I have a baby on the way and need to clear out some of my toys to make room for the baby's stuff. It's all good, time to move on to the next stage of my life. Thanks,

Great Looking Car! I've just got a 1969 Acadian Beaumont to restore myself. Mine was actually put together in Chile, Southamerica. We in Chile do not call this cars Pontiacs (as I noticed you don't do either) but Acadians. We had a factory down in Chile until around 1971 when the last Beaumonts where built there. Our model has Fiberglass hood and trunk. (normal and GTA version) I'll put up the project page for mine soon. Your pics have been a great inspiration!. 5 stars for sure!
