This truck started out life as a 1 Ton Dodge Van back in '78. It was then shipped to an RV company named Dreamer. It was then transformed into what you see here.

I bought this truck about a year ago. It is about as seventies as you can get, especially the interior. It has a gas-guzzling 440 (FOR NOW). It definately has some issues, but is a work horse. It can tow or carry just about anything. It was built as a tow vehicle for a large 5th wheel horse trailer. Both sides of the beds hold water tanks that I plan to convert to fuel tanks. There was a pump and a heater installed in the bed rails also.

I have towed cars, and carried pallets piled as high as the roof of the truck. It never had any problems. I have some huge plans for this truck. It is going to be "The Mother Ship" of my "FLEET". If you have looked at my other vehicles, you can tell that I like unique vehicles, and this truck is about as unique as they come.

Right now the truck has a cracked frame, due to the steering box breaking loose, which I understand was a common problem with these old Dodge trucks. It also has a blown head gasket. I intend to find a Dodge Duellie with a Diesel that I can take the frame and running gear from and put my body on it. That will kill multiple birds with one stone, including the horrible gas milage(about 4MPG when towing).

One other interesting fact about this truck is that I was told that previous owners believe that it was once owned by Kenny Rogers. They say that they know that he had one and that this is the only one that can be traced to Tennessee. It would be cool to find out for sure.

This truck can seat 6 and the rear seat folds out to a bed. I am not quite sure what my plans are for the interior other than to rip out what is there. I can promise you though, IT WILL BE COOL.
