*Update* Car was sold a few months ago. No more daily driver for me :(

This is my kick ass 99 Sable GS. It's an "old man car" but I like it. I have another car that I like to drive but this is my everyday car for getting from A to B.

While it nothing special, it rides really smooth, get's good mileage (about 22 mpg for me) and it's comfortable.

Since I am hooked on performance, I put a Doctor Speed Cold Air Intake on it. It took only about an hour to install it. The hardest part was tightening the filter inside the fenderwell.

This particular vehicle gained 1.9 MPG and it is noticeably faster now. Excuse the dirt, it's been a while since I washed her.

If you just want a short ram intake, You can use the Doctor Speed intake for the Lincoln LS V8. It will fit perfectly on your Taurus/Sable 3.0L V6.

Below is proof that you cannot be a D1 Drift champion in a Mercury Sable.

Old man car or not, it is reliable transportation. Sometimes they are tough to find aftermarket parts for. Nice clean ride!
