The motor is the L98 5.7 (350). This is the first year for the 350 in this car. You could only get it in the IROC-Z option and you had to have the automatic tranny. In the stock form it had 9.3:1 compression, it made 225hp@4400 330tq@2800. Sofar this motor is all stock except a few bolt-ons. All I did to it is add a fresh set of heads off a 89 IROC-Z. So It has the self aliging rocker arms. It still retains all the emissions stuff right along with A/C. But it has a test pipe were that cat is suppose to be. But it will be getting a high flow one here soon. Even though this is Florida and we don't have emissions. It dosn't hurt the car enough to bother me. Plus it's illegal. This is going to be a street car so everything is staying.

Mods to the motor include a set of K&N filters and a set of headers.

The transmission is a 700R4 automatic 4 speed with overdrive. And had to be ordered to get the L98 motor.

Mods to the Transmission is a Shift kit. Since it was in the car before I got it. I am assuming it's a B&M kit becuase it's on of the most common. But will try to findout for sure when I service the trans.

The rear is a Borg-Warner HD 7.75 inch four pinion rear end, produced by GM Holden's Limited of Australia. These units can be identified by their 9 bolt (rather than 10) differential cover that has a rubber plug. And mine has the Limited slip with a set of 3.27 gears from the factory.

No mods to it yet, other then changing the oil to Royal Purple.
