This is what it looked like when the tow truck dropped it off at home. It was hydro locked so I couldn't even turn the motor over before I bought it. I just took a chance on it. It was everything I wanted in a Camaro except the gold rims and tan interior. But it had all the good performance stuff and power accessories. And that's what counted. So after I got the plugs out we hooked a jumper box up to it and it spun over fine shooting water out of all the spark plug holes. And before I even thought of putting plugs in it to see if it would even fire, I was all ready tearing the intake off. So I got the heads off and one was cracked and the other one had a head gasket blown. I found another set of heads and did a valve job on them and started to put it back together. I get it back together and try to fire it up. It would want to start but it would back fire trough the intake. I bought a new mas for it. Since the old one was trashed. It still should of at least started without it. I figured I would try this and see if it would help. But it did the same thing. I called up a friend that's a GM master tech. And he said it sounded like the dizzy was off. He said that 90% of the people that do a head job put the dizzy in wrong the first time. So I took the dizzy out and put it back in. And sure enough it was a tooth off. It wanted to start the first time. But no luck. So I turn the dizzy a little. Second try it almost started. I turn the dizzy a little bit more. And the third time it cranked right up with open manifolds and it was sweet! So I replaced a few more things that was wrong with it. Radiator, a few sensors, battery and a few other things to get it road worthy.
