augur11's 1987 BMW 3-Series

This is my 1987 BMW 325is. It has been repainted dark gray and has red leather interior. The Bimmers' primary use is as a daily driver, but it has seen some autocross events also. It currently has an exhaust and I'm looking into a chip and intake.

Performance numbers on this car are pretty impressive for the day. The car has an 2.7 liter inline-6 and it puts out about 170 horsepower at the brakes. It only weighs 2670 pounds and the car is able to produce attractive 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.

0-60: 6.5 sec
1/4: 15.1 sec

Good lookin ride! These cars feel like they have more than 170 BHP though don't they. They pull pretty hard. I actually pulled a 15.1 1/4 mile in my e30 convertible. I have not yet run my e36 yet. Keep workin on it though! The e30 will never age!
