Before beginning any fiberglass work, there is one item you must have... don't forget your respirator unless you want to lose part of your brain!

Here is the install of the ADS 312rs.2 subs in the trunk. One is going on each side of trunk, in sealed enclosures molded to fit the trunk (with fiberglass). With trunk floor carpeting removed, here is what I have to work with:

The left side had a plastic container that was removed. Due to this, I needed to make a shelf for the fiberglass mold so it would match the shelf already on the right side of the trunk:

Next step was taping off with masking tape and sheets of tin foil to protect the interior from the resin. Also, lines are drawn on the tape of where I want the edge of the glasswork to go to:

After the sections to be glassed were set, I layed down cardboard and plastic sheets over the rest of the trunk area to protect them as well:

Then using spray adhesive fleece, bought from a fabric store, is attached to the area to be glassed:

Next step is to spread a thin layer of resin over the fleece. The key is keeping the amount of resin very light due to the fabric having an upsidedown hang in places. If too much resin is applied, the extra weight of the resin will cause the cloth to fall down before it sets:
