Welcome to the page for my 89 Caprice Classic! Call it the Beast, the Sled, the Torque Monster, the Boat, the Tank, it's all the same.

1/24/03: CAR WASH
I took the car down to the car wash today -- some of the best 7 bucks I've ever spent. Car looks like... 7 million bucks. Of course I had to redo all the chrome when I got home, but hell, it was worth it. The wheels look great when they're clean, and so do the tires. The car is really coming along...
1/23/03: MILEAGE UPDATE
As of today, the Beast has 50K miles on it. Not 150, but 50. The big 5-0, kinda like my engine :)
1/22/03: CLEAR PARKING/TURN SIGNALS
APC "super white" 1157 bulbs for parking lights / turn signals. As parking lights, they almost match my headlights perfectly, but when they blink, they're pretty blue, and pretty illegal.
1/20/03: INTERIOR BLUES
Blue interior LED bulbs just came in. They look SO much better than the stock bulbs (which I had colored with a blue marker)...
12/14/02: CHROME WHEELS
American Racing Chrome Rally Wheels. They don't look great right now because it just snowed and there's salt all over town. But they still look better than the wheel covers did. Tires look good too.
10/12/02: MODEST INTERIOR BLUES
Custom blue interior courtesy lights. Took a blue marker to the bulbs by the floor, I'll get some pics soon. Looks Limo-tastic!
10/11/02: MODEST CUSTOM INTAKE
Custom cold air intake. Took an aluminum hose/pipe (flexible) and ran it from the intake housing to the area behind the grill, before the radiator. Surprisingly enough, it DOES make a difference.
9/20/02: WHITE HEADLIGHTS
PIAA Xtreme White bulbs - the $70 ones. Now I see why the generic brand ones on Ebay cost $10. They SUCK. Burned out in 2 weeks, had to order new lights. The PIAA's are very very white and bright, look great. NEVER BE CHEAP.
8/18/02: BLUE HEADLIGHTS
"Xenon" headlight bulbs - the $10 ones. Very white, but also blue. Look much better than stock headlights.
7/8/02: PIONEER SPEAKERS
Pioneer TS-A4667 2-way dash speakers and TS-A6995 4-way rear deck speakers. The old paper cones are out, and the 4-way 6x9's really thump.
6/15/02: PIONEER MP3 PLAYER
Pioneer Premier DEH-P740MP Mp3 player. A million times better than the stock AC Delco cassette player. Maybe more than a million...
