Update: 9-15-07

Hello, Well the past few months has been fun. So i went ahead and bought the famed GT3582R to make it even more interesting! This turbo spins just by blowing into the inlet!!! I am hoping to incerase the spool time by 1000 rpms or better increaseing low end torque, and make 450 whp @ 18 psi. I am REALLY excited to boost this thing!!

Installing the GT was somewhat difficult. The whole downpipe had to be re-designed to accept the turbo The GT is a shorter turbo, and required water lines, something the T-4 did not need. I played with the idea of SS lines, but though it would look to jumbled. So I created them from Aluminum 3/8 tubing. They fit very close to the engine, and have a nice uncluttered look.

SDS has the option of going to a Distributorless ignition setup. I went ahead and ordered the system. It will give me better throttle response, and provide a shorter more direct pathway for the currant to run through to the plug, eliminating all the machanical contact points.

The Chrome trim, while it looked nice, did not fit into the picture any longer. I Blacked out the trim, and it really "finished" the look of the car.

After Xmas I will be starting the Big Performance Brake Upgrades. I need to stop it fast now.

The project continues...
