Hello,
Thanks for visting my page and taking a look at my Z31 "Black Bitch". She is a 1988 300ZX GL. I have owned her since 1990, and love it very much. Yet as the years went by, the car aged, and I grew bored with it. At the time there was a limited supply of Performance Engine Parts avalible for this car, so I decided to modify the Weak Suspension, so it would handle as the car never did new. After the Chassis was completed, the engine could NOT Overdrive the Chassis! Its V6 Engine, the VG30e, while Smooth and Quiet, just did not have any power. My freind came to me one day in 99 and told me he found a "JDM" version VG30-ET. It was a 1994 model engine, and I figured that it was newer than a "Boneyard" engine, so not knowing how to use it in my car , I bought it anyway.

Let me tell you, Engine swaps are NOT as easy as "all you need is this, and this, and this..." Dont listen to anybody else's advise, as it usually will end up wasting your time and money.
To make a long story short, I ended up doing this project on my own, figuring it out myself, and Im glad I did it this way. Here is a list of the mods:

October 2007 Dyno @ 18 PSI
These are comparisions from the T-4 I used VS. My GT3582R

What a difference!! Cams are the next mod I do to get me to my 400 WHP @ 18 PSI Goal. Keep in mind, this car will make way more than these dynos show. I have picked an 18PSI goal and a WHP gaol at that boost level.  I run about 25 PSI when I need some more power.  ; )
