This is my 1984 Mercedes Benz 300D Diesel Turbo. I recently bought it for only $1200 off an older couple. I am still in the process of making it look alot better. I'm going to get it painted and probably put 17 inch rims on it. I am also looking for a body kit. Also I was thinking about putting suicide doors on it but not for sure about that yet. So keep posted to see some major upgrades on this car. Thanks! Please tell me what you think about this beautiful machine. Or any suggestions about what might make it look better.

First of all, you definitely stole that one with only 140k on it! As for the 17" wheels, I would only do that if they were MB O.E. rims. (personal opinion, see my 1986 300E). Skip the body kit, there weren't any good looking kits for that body, and go smack yourself in the mouth for thinking about suicide doors. The one mod I didn't hear you mention was to convert it to run on WVO. With gas prices where they are now, a little free fuel never hurt anyone...

hey, if you find out where to get a body kit for it may you let me know, i'm looking to do the same. this is how it could look > search on google.com "Pimp my ride episode 505" watch the episode/video and you'll see how they changed a 1981 300sd into a hot car.

i paid 1200 for mine too. my suggestion is to keep them looking original. its a timeless classic piece of art. but they sure are great to drive.
