Finally the car has arrived a 5 speed manual 2.4lt MIVEC the car comes stock with many extras power windows power mirrors 4 wheel disc ABS with EBD unfortunately the Australian version comes with only 115hp at the wheels but has a nice 200nm of torque

Will be putting the regular upgrades to the car in the next few months which will include a
4-1 race design extractors with a 21/2" exhaust hi - flow cat convertor (page 5)
a custom cold air intake and K & N pod filter
port matched intake
Haltech E8 but programmed as a piggy back not used as a stand alone
Under crank pulley

Then RPW will set the car up to have a turbo which will be quiet exciting when completed
all of which will be completed by RPW

check here for a direct link to all mods, results and prices
racing performance work

Interior will have a mild face lift the seats and door trims will be recovered in blue micro suade

The ICE will be swaped out for ////Alpine head unit and Type R front splits and rear speakers (later will have 10"sub and amp) this will be done with a local company Bunbury Hi-Fi

Bodywork and styling will be very simple but will be very effective will upgrade suspenssion with adjustable shocks 16" rims with wide tyres simple side skirts and front bar possibly the new Accolade EVO 9 and some custom race graphics... will also add some Whiteline front tower, rear sway bar and anti lift kit.

At time of writting this up I was only going to be N/A but have since decided on going the Turbo route... so the first few pages of this site is about the N.A mods that we have done, then from page 7 is the turbo gear

Have had car for just on 5 weeks and completed 5000klm, not much has changed on the car apart from swapping out the front fog light plastic for a small mesh insert, added red plastic bulb sleeves to cover the air conditioner globes (nice red glow).

November update

Performance: well, put the car onto dyno at a recent car club event and even tho nearly all of the club cars were putting out 10- 15% less power than they normally do, I was quiet pleased to see my car put out 110.9hp at the wheels....

Also had the car at the drags to, the time was nothing spectacular but it was running totally stock - stock tyre pressure in stock tyres, at this point I have had no work at all done to it but still managed to give me a 16.2sec hopefully in the next few weeks we should be able to get to the track again and do another run this time I will lower tyre psi and run it to max rpm, I am hoping that I will see a 15.8, time will tell.

RPW have a few goodies in the making along the lines of Cam shaft, and extractors/headers... there are other bits and pieces that are now available
