ratio411's 1998 Chevrolet CamaroThis is my once cherry big block 72 Monte Carlo. Damn, I still miss this car. Unfortunatly, as much as I love 1st gen Monte Carlos, I will never own another. Every Monte Carlo I have had has tried to kill me. This one put me in the trauma unit. A lady in a mini van crossed the line and hit me head on. The seat belt saved me.

ratio411's 1998 Chevrolet CamaroJust your basic 69 Chevelle with a SBC. It had the basic street goodies, nothing wild. I miss this car too, but not as much as the Monte Carlo. Chevelles are like buttholes, everybody's got one.

ratio411's 1998 Chevrolet CamaroMy 'Cowboy Cadillac'. Gotta love that Powerstroke diesel! Power everything and a killer system. I had to sacrifice my darling truck though since we added a Z28 and a baby girl to the family. If you ever have the chance to get one of these monsters, I highly recommend it.

ratio411's 1998 Chevrolet CamaroMy Ford Maverick. I have a thing for the poor man's Mustang and have owned several. This one is the last and I have had it for many years. This is one of the 302s I built for it. It was fairly radical and backed by a Toploader 4 speed and 4.11 gears. This is where I drew my name from, I also have a thing for putting 4.11s in my Mavericks.

ratio411's 1998 Chevrolet CamaroThis is the same Maverick with a 70 351 Cleveland. The engine was fairly stock except for exhaust, Holley carb, Moroso pan, and some misc dress up. The only reason I put it in the car is because they said it couldn't be done. Unfortunately a stock engine doesn't work well with a wide ratio toploader and 4.11 gears... the thing drove like a dumptruck. The engine is out now, waiting for a proper build-up. It is far from my priorities right now, I will probably give the car to my oldest son to get him into the hobby as he approaches his teens.
