hi there.
bought this vl after a love affair with my previous car ended when i found her in another cars garage after someone took her without me knowing.
this VL was purchased for $400.
as you can see the paint is faded and the wheels are shit.
the idea here is to give it a quick tidy up and get it looking half decent.
motor wise it is a standard RB30 with bigger VL turbo injectors.
there is no pod and will never be.
the gearbox is an auto.
so far i have collected a set of rims which i have been told come off a VH ss commodore. the are white 5 spokers with a chrome ring on the outside.
when i get down to sydney next i will pick them up.
the interior is almost mint condition so not much will happen in there. a few extra gauges i have lying around the hous may make there way in there but who knows.
i have always like the calais taillights so i will putting a set of them in and i love the burgandy over silver paint so i will be repainting the bumpers and below in silver.
the car also has K-Mac front camber adjusters and full pedders shocks with lowered king springs all round which was done by the previous owner which saves me alot of money.
