This is my 1998 Dodge Durango......named her Ole Bessy!........it wasn't my first choice, but I've come to love it so far!..........purchased it back in mid November of 2005 for my wife......my wife picked it out, only drove it briefly after she banged it up trying to park it......it's not too big, not too small......gas mileage is shitty as hell!!........she drinks gasoline like a stinking Gasaholic!...other than that, she runs very strong for a 98........has a lot of guts!.......has never broke down on me the 4 years and counting that I've had her (not yet anyway!).......she's taken me down to North Carolina and back, South Carolina and back, Virginia, Conneticut, Pennsylvania, and 6 hours Upstate to Buffalo, New York and back with no problems so far.........damn thing almost got me pulled over pushing 110 going down that straight, wide open New Jersey Turnpike!!.......thank god for the radar detectors.....THE ONES THAT WORK AT LEAST!!

This is how she looked when I first got her.

I've made some inside, and outside changes to her myself during my spare time.......this was the very first change that I made........clear turn signal lamps.......I like these compared to those stock Orange ones

Along with the Clear Corners, a couple of quick easy add-ons.....shorty antenna....double edge windshield wiper blades....Chrome Grill....front & rear mud flaps....Mesh Inserts for the grill, and lower bumper.....the Chrome R/T Wheels

The butt with those altezzas....these were the second set that I installed.

These was the first set of Chrome tailights that I tried on her....

                                                   The nose before.....

1021969's 1998 Dodge Durango

The nose after......when I got this Chrome Grill, it looked exactly like the stock grill pictured above.......what I did was remove the original inserts, and replaced them with the Mesh you see now......had some left over to do the bottom as well!.....this pic shows when I placed the bottom insert on the inside of the bumper

1021969's 1998 Dodge Durango

I didn't like the original rear wiper arm, so I replaced it with the 2004 and newer Durango wiper arm....it looks more up to date!

                                                The stock 15s....before

1021969's 1998 Dodge Durango

The stock 17s now....Chrome R/T....22s and 24s look nice, but I'd be too scared to drive them daily on those low profile tires, with the rims so close to the pavement....I'd be done fucked around and bust them up if I hit the right size pothole!....they look good rolling down the busy strips at slow speed, and for photo shots, but I like to run in the fast lane!....no time to be slowing down for every little crack on the pavement!....I've had these wheels since August 2006, and I've gone across potholes in the ground with these, that most 20s would have cracked on.

I was catching pure hell trying to keep those front wheels clean of the brake dust....I got tired of lookin at Brown Wheels in the front, and clean wheels in the back, so I purchased these KLEEN WHEELS Brake Dust Shields and put them on all 4 rims....the back wheels of course don't get that kind of dirt, but I decided to match all of them to give it that unified look....now I don't have to worry about the extra labor scrubbing that Brown dirt.....it's so much easier to keep them glossing!.....
