Got this car friday Oct 21st of 05. On wednesday Oct 26th of 05 it was totaled. I got hit by a guy that had his left turn signal on, but turned rite while I was going around him. He hit me, and sent me into a buick at a stop sign, 25 feet or so away. This crunched up the front end and bent the hell out of my left inner tie rod.
It sat in my drive way untill mid december, when I took it to a shop to get the frame pulled. I ordered the Bomex2 body kit around the same time. I got it back late January and changed the inner tie rod. Then got it alligned and took it to my autobody class where I started the body kit install.
April 3rd, a day after spring break ended I was rearended. I had to drive it during spring break before it was finished to get to work.
I have put about 2500 into fixing the body and still not quite done. Now all it needs is a few touch ups on the kit and a paint job.
Page two has pics of the body kit, and will be updated when I finish getting the kit on.
Well here is what it looks like rite now, as of 9-4-06. it's about 80% done, still have to wetsand/buff and put wipers on and all that
What it looked like when I bought her
Pics after the wreck with the cavaqueer and buick. I was hit in the side by the cavalier, and it pushed me off the road and onto another road ( a driveway from a clinic) and there was a buick sitting there at the stop sign waiting to go. I was forced into the buick at about 35 mph and somehow my airbags didnt deploy..... ford you suck i should sue!
Also my steering is messed up... the guy hit his wheel on mine i guess... broke or bent something, i have the have the steering wheel turned a 1/4 turn to the rite so the airbag is up and down instead of left and rite
my cracked radiator support(crack is circled
compare this pre-wreck to the next wreck picture to see that the front has been pushed back
