First off and foremost, obviously, my name is Jeff, but everyone calls me Tofu. Don't ask.. had it since 4th grade but still pretty fond it it =).

Second off.. I just hit the interesting age of 21..., still studying hard in school (a major in business management, another major in marketing/advertising, and a minor in automotive), working 2 jobs (hot import nights as a sales promoter and volunteer work at nursing homes and homeless shelters), and taking care of family.. I pay for all the parts on my car with my own money, not anyone else's. I also do all the work myself, and rarely take the car to a shop. I pay with what I have because I work hard for what I've got. A lot of people judge these days by what they see on the outside, but thats not the kind of kid I was raised to be. I am not like other people, find out if you want =), and neither is my car. I don't mooch off of people or borrow money to get what I want. I work and earn my way every step, and that is why I call this ride my pride and joy. Built from the ground up, through its ricer stage.. till now, where I believe it's truly starting to come all together.

Third off, this is my one and only car, my daily driver. Even though I love my car to death, I do not want to be the kind of person to "garage-kept" it through rain or snow, etc. Unless if acid rain or some crazy crap comes up, my baby will still be driven like a true car is intended to. Show, street, or just whatever, my car is a daily driver and I'm damn proud of it. I believe true car enthusiasts take pride in their car rain or shine, and if it gets dirty, or even slightly scraped, I'd consider those battle scars. Pain is temporary, pride is forever, right? right . Let's move on..

To all you car enthusiasts out there, I know what it's like to struggle to see your joy on wheels being born, new things added, old things removed, day by day as it all goes by, til finally at the end, you see.. a masterpiece. As long as you do what you love and if you are comfortable as to what you have done to it, then that's all that matters.

I respect all cars, imports, domestics, any kind.. yes I am picky at times, but in the end, they all still roll on 4 wheels, and they all can be done tastefully right at their owner(s) expense.

To me, when it's my car, I'll never be fully happy with it, I'll always find or want to do different things to it all the time.. but hopefully one day, I might just create something that'll make even me, impressed.. Be safe out there guys and girls. Drive safe and remember, do it because YOU love it.. mistakes doesn't mean it's a failure.. Success is measured by the failures we make.. and what we learn from them, can make you become the person you are today..

My car resembles me, through it's stages, til now.. I hope it can build itself up as to where I have grown myself up as well.. slowly but surely, shape is taking form.

Happy modding, and God bless.

Here is a quick timeline of my car's life with me so far:
-->
--
--
October of 2006 The day I first bought it.

At this point my car was mostly stock, I just had some clear corners at the time and changed the spark plugs and put in full synthetic oil.
--
--
November 2006

Put on some full window tint. took off the emblems, and added a universal fart-can. Haha, ricer stage, everybody has to start somewhere right?
--
--
February 2007

Added a Renova grille (Only 100 of these are made-- at least the originals). Not your typical knock-off or mock-molded grills you can find on andysautosport or ebay.
--
--
March 2007

Added some blue vinyl to my headlights and foglights as well as rear turn signal area. Some interior blue neons... yes ricer stage at its max!.. oh boy..
--
--
May 2007

Put on a banner of a local car crew I was a part of back then, and put on some 17 inch gunmetal rims (I miss them..), and took off the universal muffler, and added a TRD exhaust (sounds mean-- and it's super rare), took off the blue vinyl on the headlights but left the ones on the fogs, as well as added some HIDs, and full sound system as well as gauges.
--
--
September 2007

After a short bit of hibernation, got my hands on a authentic polyurethane (not cheap fiberglass crap) TRD lip kit, 18 inch Drag Dr-25s, blacked out taillights/3rd brake light, yellow fog film/turn signals (so no more blue!), dvd player, redone gauges, backup camera, upgraded brake pads, etc etc.. took out the clear corners as well.. got sick of how they looked on my car. Lojacked my car along with GPS tracking for added safety.
--
--
October 2007

Not much different from September of '07 other than it's FINALLY lowered, sold the TRD exhaust, put on a ultra-rare (not made anymore for this car) Greddy Evo2 catback, and has a few other goodies done to it..
--
--
Early April 2008

2 tone, new rims, new alarm, new hids, redone grille, new taillights (fogs coming soon), underglow, black headlights/corners.
--
--
Late April 2008

New hids in the headlights/fogs, and redone fog housings.

--
Late May - current 2008

projectlunar's 1999 Toyota Solara

Put some spacers in the rear to give it a wider stance, my backup camera got stolen by some punk so it's no longer there anymore as well. removed my front plate for good and I dynamatted my entire car. Then I did a cat-delete, installed the test pipe, tb spacer, tune, 350cc injectors, walbro fuel pump, rechanged spark plugs, and installed the iPod dual interface.

Please rate my ride, and nominate me for show off of the week, it'd really mean a lot!
