This picture is from when my hood flew off...Took it to get some work done, and the guy's weren't familiar with the "special needs" of my Tracker. The radiator sat too far forward, mighta had something to do with the abuse it put up with off-road... :) and as a result, the hood support would get in the way causing it to not shut properly. You had to pull the support rod back some so it would clear the hood. I hit 35 and the hood flew up, cracked the windshield and scared me silly. I stopped in the center lane, grabbed the hood and stuck it in the back so I could make them fix it.
These next few are from a trip I took to Charoulough Gap in Tucson AZ.
You can almost see the little green speck in the distance here. This should give a little perspective to the height of the obstacle.

I'm now onto a 96 Jeep Cherokee, I totaled the Tracker after 4 years of faithful service. Some one thought it would be fun to stop at a flashing yellow on a 65mph highway at 1am. I glanced off for a moment when they were movin along just fine and when I looked forward again, they were coming to a stop. I was far enough back to attempt to swerve, but I caught their rear corner. Both vehicle's were totaled, I was doing about 45 at the time of the collision. All I got was a broken hand, and the other car (a Kia Sephia) had a cut and some aches.
