YUP IT'S A DAYTONA
UPDATE.....THE DAYTONA IS NO LONGER A DAILY DRIVER.....
IT'S GOING FULL RACE. LOOK FOR UPDATED PICTURS SOON.
I bought this thing about two years ago. At the time I just needed something that drove. TA DA! An 89' Dodge Daytona was for sale at a loacal Habitat for Humanity. It was running with a little 2.5 TBI engine, a whoping 98HP, if it ran on all clyinders. (It didnt!) $300 Bucks though. I ended up puting 20,000 miles on those 3 pistons (tough little bastards). The engine fineley locked up on me and It was time for a new one. I thought about rebuilding it but, decided aganst it after noticing the hole in my engine block!

3 months later I found a sweet little engine at a loacal junk yard. What a find it was. Stuck in an 89 Dodge Daytona Shelby, was a 2.5 liter FI Turbo Engine. The new engine had been rebuilt in 98' and to my surprize I took off the valve cover and found a brand new head, it looked as if it had less then 10K on it. So me and my buddies ERIC and CHAZ pulled it one weekend.

not to mention the overwhelming urge to stomp on the loud pedal.
The Daytona now Enjoys a flat black paint, a gutted interior, 18 Pounds of boost, 2.5" down pipe no cat or mufflers(SO LOUD), a fresh set of tires for me to melt down, a sunpro AIR/FUEL guage, and a one of a kind home made boost guage.
