************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************ A 1973 Plymouth Roadrunner. One that has survived multiple thefts, and a few years of some fairly decent abuse. She stated life out red and white with a constant teasing of being a Starksy and Hutch clone. After the last theft a drastic attempt to save her from the car theft ring lead to a color changing decision. Glo green. Who could possibly skip out of town with this horrid color? Now down to the good stuff. Her name-Envy, short for Green with Envy. She sports a SB 340, 727, 391 combination. Good street strip abilities, I would not venture to say awesome but good enough for a body weighing what she does. Engine basics, Balanced steel crank, fluid dampner(try them they are lovely) Howard Billet Rods(not so good for cruising) Arias High domed pistons, X heads, polished air gap intake and carb choice changes with mood, 284/484/cam(small but heah I have to drive this thing...) and March Pulleys. I have upgraded the dash to led lighting and white faced gauges. Still a long way to the finish line as something always comes up. OH the flexible radiator lines are fantastic by the way!! No more collapsed hose problems. Although the color is almost unbearable it may prove its worth by keeping her in the garage for many years to come. I would like to thank all of the people that gave their time and efforts after this last theft. So thanks to the guys at Mancini Racing(huge huge huge thanks), Spencer at Summit Racing, Graphics Express, Edelbrock, and the many others -you know who you are. Also to Tom for not letting me quit; and for putting up with me and my many moods throughout this experience. You taught me not to give up, it was worth it.
