This page is dedicated to my 1982 Ford LTD Crown Victoria, aka "The LTD." It was a graduation present from my uncle when I graduated High School in June, 2005. He tried to sell it before giving it to me, but no one wanted it so he just gave it to me.

SOLD!  I sold the LTD on 06/07/08 for $1300 to an older gentleman.  I also sold my '87 CV parts car to LTDMan83 on Grandmarq.net in July.  Why all the selling?  I bought a '94 Mustang GT, of which I'll upload pictures later today.

Now I'm left with the wagon as my only Panther!

Car might be for sale - cheap? Any takers?

I also ran up on a 140 speedo, another police rear sway, and a cheap 5.0 HO from a 1995 Mustang GT today... wondering if I should keep it...

Yes, indeed the LTD is a slicktop now. I decided to paint only the top portion. See Page 15 for details on the conversion.

In other news, the wagon go its sides painted, which turned into a disaster. See the wagon page for details(link at bottom of screen).

Back to the LTD, I still haven't gotten the engine swap started. The rods are starting to knock in the original engine. There is no oil pressure at hot idle. Obvoiusly, I will not be able to put it off much longer. I'd love to find an Explorer/Mountaineer V8 with about 50K for about $300-$400. Wishful thinking, I know.

I've replaced the inaccurate Summit gauges with Sunpro units. No pictures yet.

Here are the most recent pictures of the car:

hey, they tailight covers on this, are they original? Im trying to find a pair of those for my 87 and I want to know what Im looking for the next time I go salvage yard hunting. PS intead of going for the explore/mountianeer engine, you can always gut a carburated 460 out of a continental mk 3 and have three times the horsepower (im looking for one for mine)
