This is my '82 Firebird I bought back in July for $800. It has t-tops, an aftermarket spoiler, 2.5L 4 cyl., and a 4-speed tranny. I plan to swap out the engine and possibly the tranny eventually for something with more giddy-up!

I have an 82 firebird that also had the 4cyl Iron Duke engine. I just recently replaced it with a Chevy 350. Tight fit with the headers and exauhst, but she sounds really nice now, fast, and rides great. Good luck - the body looks like it is in good shape. Look me up when you get more done to the engine! My pics will be up real soon, just joined today.

Thanks for the compliment. I have gotten A LOT better at welding since I started the car. Now she is pretty much done, and I am finally comfortable with my work. In a year or two, I might rip the roll bars out and do it again, with better bends and such so it is more hidden. I will do all that welding too, and when the times comes, I will get ti certified, so that I can run some faster times, legally at the track. Great deal on your car, I am sure she will turn into something great, Later. -Dennis

Sweet deal you got there. In a few years, it will be nearly impossible to obtain a classic 'bird!

Nice looking Firebird. What all do you have planned for it? Let me know when you get more pics and any updates. Check out my 89 Bird sometime.
