Hey I'm Josh and I'm 15 years old and I live in M.E.M.P.H.I.S. My grandfather gave me this 1967 Cougar XR-7 for my first car. He bought it back in 1980 to restore but then later got a 64 mustang. Me and my dad are gona restore it hopefully before I'm 16. My dad is an aircraft mechanic at Fedex so he knows bodywork. Car is in pretty good shape its been sitting in a shed since 1980 and it needs is some body-work and the interior redone. It's got power steering, brakes, senquential turn signals, and factory air. If anyone has any questions or tips on cougars i would appreciate them.

Dash is in pretty good shape. Has factory tachometer which was a rare option at the time.67Coug1290's 1967 Mercury Cougar

All the gauges are in very good condition and as you can see...87,712 miles... not too bad!67Coug1290's 1967 Mercury Cougar

I wish you the best on your restoration. This is your first car and a beautiful classic. Make sure you love and take car of this car and most important; DONT EVER SELL IT no matter what the situation. Trust me your first car will always be your first love. Good luck and I luck forward to seeing more pics in the future!
